A polished male and female duo covering swing, soul, musical theatre, opera and modern pop. Small enough for an intimate room, big enough to fill a ballroom.
Not every event needs a six-piece show. The Melody Makers is the act we recommend when you want serious vocal quality without surrendering the whole room to a band.
Two professional singers — one male, one female — with a songbook that stretches from Sinatra and Ella through Motown and soul, into musical theatre and opera, and out the other side into modern pop. They read a room extremely well: subtle over dinner, then lifting the energy through the evening.
It is the most flexible act on our roster and, dependably, the best value. It fits into spaces a full band cannot, and it works as beautifully for a fifty-guest dinner as it does for a corporate reception.

How much space do they need?
Very little — a corner of the room and a power socket. That is a large part of the appeal: they fit venues that cannot physically hold a full band.
Can they cover the whole evening?
Yes. A typical booking is three sets across a cocktail hour, dinner and the party, with the energy building through the night.
Is a duo cheaper than a full show?
Yes, meaningfully — while keeping the same calibre of singer. It is the best-value act we offer, which is why we recommend it so often.
